the trip is confirmed!
... and I'm going to London next month! - this time I'm taking the plane alone. I'm starting to think if it will be boring for this 17 hours long trip- *urgh. However I'm still pretty excited and the husband bought me a new luggage bag for this trip yesterday :)
The weather in London is pretty cold in November so I've been making a list of "what-to-bring" in case I forget something important, for example, a coat or my husband's baby pillow. (ahh yes, i can be a little muddleheaded sometimes || and yep, I need that pillow to sleep- I'm insomniac, it's pretty much of a hereditary problem.)
I know of a few places in London that I will be visiting again (Camden market, portobello market..) but I am hoping to go more places for my 7 days trip. Please do share if you know of any great places to go!

little water plants.
under the bright afternoon sunlight..
{ this was my dad's but I brought it back home with me in fear that the water will evaporate off in the 3 months while they're away }

It's a rainy day and i'm home alone..
my parents went to UK last week (for 3 months!) and my husband's working so i'm sort of home alone and I, out of boredom, took a pic of what I am eating currently while trying to blog at the same time... behold!..
delicious chocolate mochi bread & an almond sugar puff :-)

I know, it's so random right? oh wait, I will be adding this lovely ring to the shop today too!

things lying on my table..
..my two chatelaine purses. The one on the left is from France and the one on the right is from the Victorian era. I loved how delicate and detailed these purses are and have been bringing them around with me wherever I go.
The black button on the left is a WW1 military button with a hidden compartment for photos, it is currently holding a photograph of a lady named Ruth inside I kept the button and the small locket inside the French purse alongside with my coins. The heart shaped photo locket on top of the purses is my newest acquisition, a mourning locket for the baby with pictures of her parents on the right.
There is an antique marcasite ring in my purse today too!
I love the flowers and leaves details on the French purse -
Aren't they pretty?
- so what's lying on your tables today? -

recently...
some of the items that are going to be in the shop the next few weeks :)
Notice the heart shape locket at the bottom? it's now mine :) I was actually going to sell it but when i open it up to check for verdigris+ see what else i can find, i found out that it was actually a mourning locket for the baby, the baby's full name and the date of birth and death was written neatly behind the photograph with love. Such sad but sweet locket- I decided to keep it.
